Death of a camera

I am grieving for my poor Canon G9.  It has been with me for a few years now and has been a trusty companion on many trips faithfully recording moments to remember.  Now I know that I am really wanting a new one but not this way - not at the beginning of a holiday!  Instead I will have rely on Alans camera and the video camera and hope that will suffice.  I do have to admit that I do like my gadgets so I have a few back up plans.  However, I still mourn for my Canon; it is strange how attached one becomes to something that bleeps and whirs.......My apologies for no photos today - I will have to wait until I get home as it is not easy to do this at the hotel!   Mr Jones keeps looking at me and waving his paws around - I dont know what he is trying to tell me!

    Mr. Jones is trying to tell you that this is his first holiday with you and he wants you to photo record every minute. And...we sure are missing pictures of him.

    Though we'd love to see pics, it is your holiday. So, regardless of not being able to take photos of Mr Jones on his first seaside venture, enjoy it all. Memories can live in your heads, whether or not you can show pictures to us. So ENJOY YOURSELVES!
    There's no use worrying over spilt honey, a new camera can come later.

    Thanks guys! However, I will make quite sure that I do have lots of photos of Mr Jones on his hols to make into an album when I get home.....I have borrowed Alans camera and it is doing its best!

    Yes thanks:)) Just a bit tired and hot when I got back! All my photos are being downloaded as we speak so hopefully I will be able to show you my very own album! I tried to get you a stick of rock but.......I couldnt find any:(
