The sky is blue and the sun is shining. The waves are making a wonderful sound and making me relax..slowly....very slowly. We had a wonderful time today with the ground squirrels and I have discovered that there favourite food are walnuts. At one time I counted 8 on my lap and one on my shoulder all clambering for attention. I just love them. Plenty of photos were taken of course and I will put them all in an album for you when I get back. Mr Jones is looking a tiny bit bewildered though - is it because he has not seen the sea before?
What a wonderful experience - so many beautiful squirrels.
ReplyDeleteMaybe Mr. Jones is just in awe of everything that is going on around him. Let's face it, until you brought him out into the world after being packed away for so long there is a lot for that little guy to see and experience. Maybe warm honey will soothe him.
Hugs ♥
Mr. Jones did you get to feed the squirrels. I think I could go to sleep listening to the breaking waves. I want to see all the photos. Sound like your MOM is having a great time.

Don't worry about the water Mr Jones. It moves about a bit and sometimes it goes a bit further away from your hotel than other times, but when you go back home it doesn't follow you. You might find that, when it goes away a bit from where you are staying, it leaves you a present of some pretty shells to pick up.

PS Don't try drinking the water - it is ready salted, like potato crisps.
Hi friends
ReplyDeleteMum has been a bit moody today - I keep trying to tell her about the sea and the shells but shes just not listening! She keeps looking at her camera and sighing - I think its broken......Should I tickle her to cheer her up? Perhaps tomorrow will be better !
