Easter Weekend on Teddy Tour!

How lucky we were last weekend with the sunshine!  The drive down to Rivington Hall for the bear fair on Friday was really good.  The fields velvety and healthy green with those gorgeous little lamb families hopping and skipping and banks covered in primrose clumps.

Rivington Hall is very attractive and in such a great spot on the edge of the Pennines.  Arranged by Bobby's Bears, it is a good venue with plenty of parking and a warm atmosphere.  The resident peacock also seems to like it and even comes indoors now and then.

The day went well and I was delighted that many of my bears and little animals went to good homes.  Finlayston the big bear of 31" with swivel wrists went home with Alison and Colleen fell in love with Creme.

Alison Marshall with her new bear.
After packing up the car and some hugging and waving to friends, we enjoyed the drive down to East Leake to stay with my brother for a few nights.  Patchings Bear fair at Calverton was on Easter Monday so what better excuse for a visit to family combined with bears!  The Monday fair also surpassed expectations so all in all we had a lovely weekend.

  1. No wonder you had lots of bears with new homes to go to. Your bears and Hedgies are wonderful.
I'm glad you had a nice few days.

  2. I had no idea that your bears were sometimes so big! I'd have swapped one of my children for this fellow... so smiley, well dressed, tidy and quiet! He's a wonderful new friend for a lucky lady.
