As usual, a warm welcome awaited us at Hopetoun House, South Queensferry to set up our stand for the Christmas Fair; disrupting the house and no doubt making Hopetoun's ancestors quiver in their portraits! What a wonderful setting for a Christmas Fair.
Alas the wonderful dining room complete with massive Christmas tree was not set out for a meal for us. Just wish ours looked like this but I have to remember all the dusting that might be involved and the hedgehogs would just get lost.
Our little corner was in the Red Drawing Room - one of my favourite rooms of the house. Massive portraits line the walls, and the faces in the pictures peek over the top of the exhibition stands in amazement. The most wonderful thing of the weekend was that Benjamin (remember he got lost in the wilderness of Parcelforce for three months) was adopted by a new family and I am convinced I saw his smile widen! To be going home to Heidi and family he was definitely a happy bear.
Your booth looks enchanting again this year. Beautiful.
