Across the Forth Bridge

A wonderful day out to Linlithgow by Steam

Another day out by steam today. This time Mr Jones did come along too, tucked in my rucksack.
He refused to stay at home even though I told him that there might not be enough room for him to stretch his paws!  The carriages werent quite as comfortable as the ones on Thursday but they did have the honour of being the set used for the Harry Potter movies.  What magnificent views across the Forth from the bridge and the weather really enhanced the landscape - it is amazing what a bit of sunshine can do.

Swans on the lake at Linlithgow - fast asleep!

  1. Hi Mr. Jones,

My, your first outing, bet you had loads of fun. Oh, did you know there is a summer camp for teddy bears? Camp Good Bear. If your Mom wants to know about it tell her to e-mail me and I will tell her all about it.

There are 7 or 8 of Prudence's friends that are going.

    Big hugs, Little Bear. ♥

    1. Oh bear camp sounds fun - I will have to find out more about it!

      Hugs from Mr Jones

  2. Hi Mr. Jones,

I am thrilled you went on a steam train ride. Did you stick your head out of the window to smell the smoke????
It would be great if you could go to bear camp, I'm going
and us Blokes need to stick together.

    1. Hi Wilbur
I wanted to stick my head out but there was a VERY BIG MAN at every window and they wouldnt move no matter how I poked them. O well I am told it is easy to get a bit of soot in the eye so perhaps its just as well...
