Fair preparations

Back from holiday....'Another one' I hear you ask? Well this was an extra one - a week spent exploring the lovely island of Sao Miguel in the Azores - this time with my brother and his wife.  We explored every inch and came back needing a rest!!  Now it is time to REALLY knuckle down and get some serious bear making done ready for the autumn fairs.  Piles of assorted beautiful mohair heap tantalisingly  on my fabric table and I am letting myself get lost in the furry beauty of it all. 

I am still getting getting over the loss of poor Benjamin - A huge bear that Parcelforce managed to lose..  How could they? The box was massive; hardly an object to fall between the floorboards. Ho hum.

Next week should be interesting. I may have jury duty on Monday, got to get an xray at some point and still loads of bears etc to finish. Also hoping to find the time to enjoy a birthday lunch on Tuesday.  Next Weekend it is the Bakewell fair and the Nottingham Bear fair on Monday - I have lots of goodies for the shows!
